Skanditrip rental stations

The pick-up and return of the motorhome is done at the same rental station.

Stockholm motorhome rental station:

• Address (high season): Rallarbacken, Åkersberga
• Address (low season): Torsvägen 11, Åkersberga
• Opening dates (season): 19th Apil – 11th October
• Return hours: between 9 - 10.30am
• Pickup hours: between 2 - 5pm

Göteborg motorhome rental station: Lantbruksgatan 2, 431 47 Mölndal

• Opening dates (season): 5th April – 11th October
• Return hours: between 9 - 10.30am
• Pickup hours: between 2 - 4pm

Luleå motorhome rental station: Antnästräsket 50, 975 93 Luleå

• Opening dates (season): 10th May – 12th September
• Return hours: between 10.30 - 11.30am
• Pickup hours: between 1 - 4pm

To ensure that you feel safe and comfortable in the use of your mobile home, you will get a complete instruction about the motorhome and all the functions at the pick-up. This takes about an hour.

Rates and availability - Season 2024

High season: 25th June – 21st August, from 156 - 265 €/day

Low season: 22nd August – 24th June, from 128 €/day

Minimum rent period: 1 week

Rent period options: Complete weeks, normally only Fri Friday-Friday , or Saturday-Saturday

Booking and payments

A booking fee of 250 € is charged to your credit card at booking.

Credit card advance payment, of the rent 11 weeks prior to the rental date.

Credit card final payment, of the rent 2 weeks prior to the rental date.

Security deposit and deductible

At pick-up of the motor home the booking fee is converted to a deposit. The deposit is returned to your credit card after the motorhome is returned in good condition.

Cover: Fully comp
(Third party, Collision, Breakdown, Theft, Fire, Vandalism, Roof, Damage to interior, 24h roadside assistance)

Excess amount Essential package: 1200 €

Excess amount Ready-to-Go package: 0 €

Driver

Minimum age: 19 years

Maximum age: no restrictions

Drivers must have held a full valid driving licence for: 1 year

Free mileage

2000 km per week

Smoking

No smoking inside the vehicles.

Travel restrictions

The vehicles may generally be used within the Nordic countries (Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark). Other countries on request and subject to additional insurance costs.

Cancellation

You can cancel the motorhome booking by contacting us +46(0)36- 4402250 or email to info@skanditrip.se. Please note that your cancellation is not valid until you have received a confirmation from us.

A cancellation cover is included in the SkandiTrip Ready-to-Go Plus premium package, you can cancel up to two weeks before check in. With a cancellation cover, you will be refunded the 50 % advance and any final payment. Cancellation protection does not apply to the booking fee and the SkandiTrip Ready-to-Go Plus premium package fee.

Airport/city shuttle service

SkandiTrip offers transfers between airport and the rental station at rates as follow:

Stockholm-Arlanda: 219 € (1-4 persons), 339 € (5-7 persons)

Gothenburg-Landvetter: 119 € (1-4 persons), 189 € (5-7 persons)

Luleå-Kallax (Luleå): 109 € (1-4 persons), 179 € (5-7 persons)

A one-way fee will apply to transfers to and from the following city centers:

Stockholm: 219 €(1-4 persons), 339 €(5-7 persons)

One-way rentals

One-way rentals can be offered case-by-case. Get in touch with us to see if it is possible.

Tips

Pack your luggage in soft bags or backpacks. Suitcases as well as hard occupy more space and are harder to pack in the cabinets and storage spaces of the motorhome.
